Life in the Cottages
Welcome to the learning village! We are going to have so much fun out here this year. You will want to stay in the cottages for the rest of your PSE school career! In order to get our little friends comfortable with the walk to the cottages in the morning, we will start off slowly and work their way up to walking independently to their classroom.
Things to note:
1-Rainy days-We go outside frequently in the cottages: lunch, specials, bathroom breaks, arrival, and dismissal. Please send in a rain jacket or poncho with your child on rainy days. Keeping a poncho in their backpack may be the most effective way to keep your child dry on rainy days.
2-Arrival- All children, regardless if they arrive on the bus or in carpool, will walk through the front doors with all the other students. Your child will proceed to the cafeteria and walk directly through the cafeteria straight to their classroom as soon as they arrive. Their classroom door will be open and ready for them to enter. A staff member will help direct children each morning.
3-Volunteers- All volunteers must sign in at the office before making their way out to the cottages.
